Shari's

We have been eating a lot of family breakfasts at Shari's lately.  I like it there, it reminds me of my grandma.  She used to take us out to lunch there on our birthdays, or before one of our many bingo dates.  I miss her, the sound of her voice, her company and caring heart.  I wish she could have been at my wedding and I know she would have adored my kids.  If only time didn't make the memories fade,  I could just close my eyes and be in her presence.  I'am glad to have these little reminders...

One of Addie's games lately is to sit on top of the couch and and yell "Mommy take my hand, I'm gonna fall."  I run and try to save her, but its always too late, she falls backwards onto the couch.  

Alice is obsessed with night lights, she won't leave them alone.

Find the Mii

One of your many likes my love is to play the Wii.  You ask me often if we can play "Mommy and Addie," which means your favorite game Find the Mii on WiiPlay.  You scream with excitement whenever someone says they will sit and play a round with you.  When we play together, I take my time to click on a matching pair of Mii's as I know you love to find and click on them yourself.  If I trigger too fast you are sure to tell me that you wanted to click'em.

Level after level we see recognizable faces of friends and family in the Mii characters, which I think makes the game that much more fun for you.  Shouting I got "uncle Tim," I love that you recognize your people.

At times when you aren't playing the game I will catch you running around the house declaring "I'am the fastest Mii!"

Hi-Ho, Hi-Ho it's Off to the Craft Store We Go.

So I decided about 4PM this evening that I wanted to go craft shopping, I have some projects in mind for my oldest's 3rd birthday.  So I pack up little bit and head to my car.  It doesn't start.  Again.  I swear this is like the 5th time in less than a year.  Usually it's because little fingers like to play with ceiling lights while momma's back is turned.  But I digress...

The craft store.   Alice did really well.   I was able to get most of the felt I need to build Addie a card table playhouse.  Have you seen these before?  Super cute.   I'm excited to get started.

Oh yeah, she got that apple sauce all over herself, the floor and cutting counter at Joann's.  Thank you to the understanding mom who kindly handed me a wet wipe to clean this kiddo up.
